Tim Sutton and Seth Bomse make films for a living and now they've made three short ones based on installments of the Public Apology column here at The Awl. Author Dave Bry feels awkward about them and won't watch-but the rest of us have, and we dig it.

I DID think that. I wanted them to act out finding Dave passed out and then flashing back to Dave leaving the bar and so on. I think they should script these out. They would be hysterical.

Dave, you as an adult enacting your younger slights while everyone else were their age at the time of the event would be ideal.

Um, these are absolutely perfect for This American Life. Like, incredibly so. Would it be entirely out line to try and push these along to producers there? Unless, of course, someone else has already done this?
