Four Loko Still Pouring into New York City
Crazy upper-downer beverage Four Loko was banned in New York City and elsewhere, so then its makers removed caffeine from their delicious secret recipe—and now, thanks to the controversy, it's become a very popular beverage! As proof, we offer this weekend's delivery receipt from a little Carroll Gardens deli. Congratulations, lawmakers and scandal sheets: you made a terrible, sugary, very large, alcohol-full malt beverage an extremely popular endrunkening beverage of choice.
There's blood on that shipping invoice. Aside from the blood that's apparently actually been wiped on it.

Bodegas in The Bronx never got the "Four Loco is illegal" memo. Of course, acquiring said beverage from a Bronx bodega unscathed is almost as dangerous a proposition as actually ingesting the damn junk.
Um yeah? Mark me down for a 23.5oz Four Loko xXx limited edition green apple that I mixed with some "dissolvable" caffeine powder (lol). Not very successful, so I moved on to Croak Rotie Languedoc Syrah-Viognier
Clarification: the Croak Rotie did not originally contain, nor did I subsequently add, any caffeine of any sort. Just wanted to make that clear.

Ooooh! Iono! I only have one (blue raspberry) original! Think you have to ask Miles how dear one of those is! They don't stock that flavor here anymore…
I mean, there's plenty of watermelon, fruit punch, & lemonade + Joose raspberry lemonade, kiwi strawberry, cherry lime, & mango @ 12% per 23.5 oz without caffeine, (& I guess the 2 Tilt mystery flavors are now @ 12%) buuuuut the originals, that's something else……
