A PowerPoint Presentation About Airport Hotels

3

After completing an introductory English as a First Language class this spring, "Thomas Blair" decided to become a famous writer. Alas, he discovered that all those jobs are taken. As a stop-gap, he has decided to direct a non-polemical feature-length documentary film about doping in the sport of professional bridge. He's that close to booking the Buffet interview. You can fall in love with Mr. Blair here.

22 years since you heard "Quality Inn?"

Look at the last bullet – it was a Westin!

(Whenever I hear the name "Westin," by the way, I always envision it as the shortened name of a "Best Western" in Boston's South Side. "I left my cah over at the Weste'n. In the pahking lot.")

No it's not a Westin. You misread the last bullet. He was wishing he was staying at a Westin.

The hotel in question is a Howard Johnson's. See his twitter post at 10:19pm on Aug 5: http://twitter.com/adryyear

Aw, man … listicles have to be in PowerPoint now? I didn't get that memo.

I'll have to re-do my latest Awl submission!

I agree

Redacted (#2,882)

I can fall in love with him right here on this very page, thanks.

Needs more embedded .avi files.

Art Yucko (#1,321)

do you want to get stabbed with a satay chicken skewer? then shut the hell up about .avi's.

If I wanted PowerPoint, I'd be working. (just kidding! I still wouldn't be working!)

Art Yucko (#1,321)

powerpoint is a healthy portion of my sorry employed existence, I'm afraid.

Oh, me too. Do you have co-workers who use PowerPoint as graphics software? Nothing better than getting 4 megabyte bitmaps in your inbox.

doubled277 (#2,783)

I'm one of those people, thank you very much. And now I'm crying.

Ahaha, sorry doubled :) I tease out of love (plus, it's all I have–a mediocre talent with photoshop)
