Six of the suspects in the Richmond High School homecoming gang-rape of a 15-year-old have pleaded not guilty to rape. Somehow, the other four (or more) suspects have not been charged yet. Nor have the approximately twenty on-lookers! Also the school has not yet been massively sued into bankruptcy and the firing of all the school's administrators by the girl's parents, but we're willing to wait a while for that worthwhile event. You know what's interesting about Richmond High School? The teacher and principal salaries are well below average among similar California school districts-while the superintendent's salary is well above average. Well. Not for long!

"This indictment itself was a successful event."
Perhaps the other four are creative types and filmmakers. They have immunity.
Wrong! The new superintendent will be paid MORE b/c it's the only way the district will be able to attract talent. The salaries of teachers will get lower and the school will do with a smaller budget practically ensuring something like this will happen again! Hakuna mattata!
Just like on Wall Street!
Except people care about wall street!
You know what would be really great? If the family COULDN'T sue, if the daughter COULDN'T get an abortion is she gets pregnant and if we could somehow classify this gang-rape as a pre-existing condition so she can never get healthcare when she grows up.
Love,
Sen. Tom Coburn
I wonder if they'll try to say they didn't do it at all, or that it wasn't rape (or 'rape-rape').
Either way the smear campaign against the girl by the defense attorney should be quite a spectacle.
She had it coming to her. Ten times.
I know! For 2 hours no less!
That is the part i just cannot get my brain around. No way every last person at that dance did not know what was happening.
That entire school needs to be jailed/sued out of existence.
Are you kidding ? SHE ASKED FOR IT ! The whole time ! I swear !
Is that an oil can on the school's sign?
Yes. Yes it is.
Richmond (and most of W. Contra Costa) is major oil refinery territory. The pollution and risks of chemical spills are part of what keeps housing prices affordable.
