Martin Amis Still Talking

On the one hand it's actually rather amazing that a writer whose last notable book came twenty years ago is still someone whose remarks a certain culture considers worth acting outraged over. On the other hand—actually, you know what? Let's not think too much about it.

He's a master at staying in the limelight, and the brit press is only too happy to play along… Also, I 'm told he has a portrait of himself as a rather good-looking young man in his attic in Cobble Hill. He'd been hoping, apparently, to pull off the Dorian Grey trick.
