"If you’re a banker today, many who once looked up to you as a success now think you’re evil; maybe you’re even the type who caused the economy to crumble."

"On top of that, you hear politicians from the president on down blaming 'Wall Street and bankers' for the crisis, as if they were all the same, when in reality it was only five or six individuals very high up at places like Bear Stearns and Lehman Bros. who share responsibility." Haha, sure?

@jfruh I know, right?! You mean to tell me 5-6 people repackaged BILLIONS in bad debt and resold it all over the WORLD to hundreds of thousands of people? [And at the same time, I have to keep in check my abject hatred for these people, because--at least theoretically--they are humans and have parents and kids, etc.]

The writer of that headline deserves a special Pulitzer for Outstanding Subtlety in Sarcasm.

Alternate take : Sorry, Mr. Potter, Clarence is off-duty today.

Something tells me Lloyd Blankfein, Jamie Dimon, and even Dick Fuld, among many others, remain very "settled" and "comfortable" indeed.
