Everyone Equally Annoying

"New research suggests the way in which we think of things and treat other people depends on whether we are single or in a relationship. In a new study, researchers discovered that people like to believe that their way of life — whether single or coupled — is the best for everyone, especially if they think their relationship status is unlikely to change."

The fuck you say. When I was single I never wished singleness on anyone except ladies I had crushes on, especially the lady with whom I now am — who, it turned out, never really got to be single because she didn't technically break up with her previous boyfriend until around her second date with me. So.

@Mr. B Well I pity the fool who is stuck in marital bliss. And I'm stuck in a sad and lonely loop, so it's true!

The worst case of this – people who have young children are really, really insistent that you should join them in their misery. Then once they find out you're voluntarily childless and not suffering from some strange malady they drop you from the invites – of course at that point it's a blessing and you can go back to rolling in your money. Of course Childfree with a capital C people are up there too.
