Jesus Was A Square

“This fragment suggests that some early Christians had a tradition that Jesus was married. There was, we already know, a controversy in the second century over whether Jesus was married, caught up with a debate about whether Christians should marry and have sex.”
There goes another "utopian hero." Mark Grief is going to be bummed out.

Is there a kickstarter somewhere to fund a bigger feud between TheAwl and nPlusOne? I'd love to contribute.

1. That As You Like It ultimately fears its own liberation from monogamous gendered love.
2. The sacrifice in crass Hollywood money of the joy in action that is the promised but never delivered epiphany of post-industrial society, thereby razing any hope for the astonishment that is a post-millennial City on a Hill, and who the fuck is Rubby de la Rosa anyway.

5. That psychotherapy has progressed beyond Freud, and thus I have to caveat all my Freudian bullshit diagnoses of whatever I am writing about with "nobody actually believes this is real any more, but it sure SOUNDS good doesn't it?"

When I first read this article I laugh so hard that my roommate came in my room to see what's going on. However, when he read the article he raised some good questions and I don't really know how to answer him. I don't really want to get into this subject as I'm creating stickers for our band concert and I really don't have the time to get into a debate.
