And Now It's Pretty Too

Okay, we had our launch fun. Now The Wirecutter, our always-updated guide to the best tech available, is also pretty to look at.

Do I wanna be that guy? Yeah I wanna be that guy. Dudes, I really liked the old design. It was like non-ironic retro or something. Still love the site xx

I liked the previous look. It reminded me of Dwarf Fortress. (The new design is fantastic too though.)

Nice job, Choire. Do you guys get a cut if we click through (or click through and buy)? I'm seriously considering a small TV for my office so I can watch Anderson Cooper, I mean, "the news" at work.

a lot of the info on that site was/is wrong. some of it is subjective but some is just misinformation. for example on the old site it recommended the VTR30 panasonic model, which is the same as the VTR25 but costs more and has an input for security cameras. lots of minor details like that – overall it seems like there is no fact-checking or quality control.

I'm still disappointed that you didn't go for my idea of "The Wristcutter".

@keisertroll: There's already the Living section over on the Huffington Post.
