"I mean, really, my grandfather, I consider him the Jay-Z of his time."
—Pablo Dylan, 15 years old, rapper. Jay-Z has a new song out today, too. It borrows heavily from Duckie from Pretty In Pink.
And here I was certain that nothing would ever make me recall Jacob Dylan with any sense of fondness. Didn't take too many genrations for that talent pool to evaporate.
@Adouble I think the talent pool has evaporated at such a rate that now it's taken on the form of a toxic, scalding steam, exposure to which induces depression and feelings of confusion and anger.
Hilariously, both Dylan, Sr. and Jay-Z are a little offended by this remark.
–Something unexpected surprise–

I have a distinct feeling that Bob Dylan has the space in his heart and mind to enjoy this.
I have no idea how to tell good rap from bad, but this turn of events is making me feel very, very old.
