A new iteration of our favorite casual game has just been released for Apple devices. (The original web version is here.) They've been working on this for some time, and to my mind, it suffers a bit from over-building. (They've crammed a lot into it! And in a sense there's too much but also too little: too many tricks to learn, and not even levels to try them out on.) But that being said, it's still pretty genius as straight-up puzzle activity, and it's also extremely handsome. And since there's nothing more shameful than playing Angry Birds on the subway—that's the cultural equivalent of blasting Huey Lewis on your boombox—why not try something new?

You shush up about Angry Birds.
It is so NOT Huey Lewis.
You shush up about Huey Lewis.
He is so NOT Angry Birds.
@hockeymom
The cultural equivalent of blasting Huey Lewis on your boombox is doing something amazing that everyone enjoys and nobody judges you for liking or doing.
@djfreshie jeez, no kidding. I guess we can add "angry birds shaming" to the list of things we need to suffer anxiety about.
@SeanP
Oh dear, SeanP I'm so sorry you misunderstood. I was defending Huey Lewis. And the News. But definitely not Angry Birds. I'm president of the Angry Birds shaming committee. It's just me, but I have a megaphone and half the time I'm doing a phony British accent and I also like to mute the megaphone and yell a lot of "Here, here!" for effect.
i can tell what's going on
it's hip to be square
Meh. It's no George Plimpton's Video Falconry. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/571422
Ooh the good tech guy is here!!
I am gravely disappointed that Continuity 2 has no web version. Am I really going to buy an iPad to play this game? I considered it.
Grrr! Humorous aside that slights a cultural touchstone I am ambivalent about! Grr!
Oooh this is exciting. Please tell me it can be played while you're not connected to the internets? I have quite the old school iPod touch (freaking 8Gigs. Its practically a shuffle.) but I will stop complaining about that if only I can get this game to work on it.
Damn, thanks for Continuity. Just beat all thirtysomething levels at work.
