Spain´s highest mountain @(3715m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories. Such timelapse shots are really nice. However, no one beats the cosmic talent of Tom Lowe ( timescapes.org ). If you do not know his work, it is really worth checking. Now that will have you fall on your ass, in awe.
