"South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed a law Tuesday requiring women to wait three days after meeting with a doctor to have an abortion, the longest waiting period in the nation." Should, however, you be in the market for a handgun, the wait is a more manageable two days.

Yes, let's stretch out a very difficult period for a woman as long as possible. Remember, the GOP loves your fetus! Even if it will be born with defects that conflict with life! Everyone wins!
South Dakota ladies! Do we have to spell it out for you?
Simply have your uterus designated an ACOG-recognized medical school. Then when you shoot yourself in the stomach, you can claim your fetus – a doctor-in-training who would perform abortions – coerced you into doing it, and you'll get off scot-free.

Look, if you can't do a little basic planning before becoming sexually active, then you don't deserve access to reproductive services. An unaccredited cervix is a menace to us all.
amazing
All the more reason Castle Doctrine ought to apply to unwanted persons trespassing on and attempting to steal resources from a person's uterus.
two minutes if purchased from a "collector" at a gun show.
That gun show loophole is such complete and utter bullshit (and I say that as a dude who owns several guns) that it drives me up an actual wall every time I am reminded of it. And now someone is going to have to call the fire department to get me down again
What I am saying is that you ruined my day just now, Abe Sauer
You know what they say, "If Men Got Pregnant, Abortion Would Not Only Be Legal, It Would Be Free."
its the freightening honest truth
this is a good time to consider donating to South Dakota's abortion fund:

they don't appear to have a website or any capacity to accept online donations, but I'm going to mail a check when I get home tonight.
I'm surprised they don't have a law mandating the arming of fetuses, so they can come out guns a-blazin'.
Have you accepted Our Lord, Jesus Christ, into your uterus? Because that is a totally rational basis for creating law.
And if Senators could get erections, Viagra wouldn't be covered by your tax dollars.
I actually reserve most of my ire for that piece requiring women to receive counseling from a group that discourages abortions. First, is there a group out there that really does the opposite, taking in a frightened woman, holding her hand, and soothingly saying, "Get a motherfuckin' abortion! What you waiting for!?" I don't think so. Second, wow, are these people going to have any training more formal than having been picked from the pews of the most fervent churchgoers? People talk about the mental health effects of abortion. How about the mental health effects of some delusional, bible-thumper, down-talking?
