Knut the Polar Bear, 2006-2011
I am too broken up to have anything significant to say about this, so I'll let our friends from Next Media Animation give you all the details on the tragic passing of this famous bear. Farewell, Knut. You were truly too beautiful for this world.
Long live that beer drinking, snapshot posing Chinese bear with the headgear. So sad, Knut .. and I am outraged that News of the World tried to turn his passing into a sex scandal.
Um. . .there's a teaser on there called "Dog Eats Toes." Which itself has one called "Dog Gets Elected."
I simply point this out because I had trouble typing the bear's name.
Also, I appreciate the Paul the Octopus h/t, but really? Two national treasures who die of mysterious causes whilst in their prime? If there isn't an official inquest, there should at LEAST be a Lifetime Original.
