Odd Future Raps With The Roots Last Night
Two members of the Los Angeles rap collective Odd Future appeared with The Roots on the Jimmy Fallon show last night. Odd Future are also known as Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, and sometimes they switch the W" from "wolf" with the "G" from "golf" so that it's "Golf Wang." This clip of their performance lets you know why so many people are so excited about them. They're maybe about as punk rock as rap has ever got. And, among other things, they're really good.

Just like The Beatles on "Sullivan", except Odd Future isn't overrated.
Just like Arcade Fire winning the Grammy, except, yeah.
@murgatroid you mean the suburbz rightzzz?!?
Brilliant. Though I have to say I'm slightly disturbed by the poor woman in the hospital gown.
You may be the only person on the internet who agrees with me on those points. Both the brilliance and the disturbance.
When the ICP pulled this crap, they were laughed at. When Eminem did it to a lesser extent, it was a national outrage. But here… the kids are young and black. I guess it's expected. And if they get arrested or jailed for doing what they sing about, then… No great loss. They are talented. But man I hope they're not destined to be used up and thrown away (Die Antwoord?)
who is the Odd Future?? to be completely honest the only thing I really like about the Jimmy Fallon show is that he has the roots on there as his band beyond that I don't really think to much of his show. oh well its hard to beats Leno when it comes to Late Night television
