Mexico Keeping The Lights On In Texas

"Mexico's state electricity company on Wednesday started supplying electricity to Texas, where cold weather and power shortages forced rolling blackouts across the state. Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission issued a statement saying it 'was determined to support Texas with electrical energy' as its neighbor to the north scrambled to deal with its power woes."

How can Texas secede when they can't even get their power grid working correctly?

Vulpes (#946)

Anchor electrons! Next their protons will be stealing jerbs from our hard-working American particles!

Thanks, Mexico! We'll still plan to make life miserable for you at every turn when you come to Texas! Just sayin'.

Look, I don't hate legal electricity, some I'm definitely not a racist. I just think the laws exist for a reason, and sooner or later we're going to see a crime wave from all this undocumented power.

theheckle (#621)

Can we be sure it'll be a crime wave? Could be crime particles.

Fuckin' Mexican particles want to impose UN-sanctioned sharia-compliant 220V AC, I'm telling you.

BoHan (#29)

Stupid Mexican electricity always willing to work where the American electricity won't.

coryballs (#4,647)

I tell you what, it's these Mexican electrons willing to work for substandard wages that are taking good jobs from decent, American electrons. Nevermind that everyone here in Houston turned their thermostat up to 80 degrees the moment the weather went below freezing.
