Snow, sleet and freezing rain: It's just another day of our endless winter! It is actually not terrible out right now, but there is supposedly some nastiness on the way. What it is, however, is extremely slippery. I took my first fall of 2011 this morning. It's just how I remembered it from last year; the slow-motion realization that you are about to hit pavement, and then shame and embarrassment and the looking around to make sure nobody sees you. Also the shouting of "sonofa–" before you make landfall. Anyway, step lively, kids, it's wet down there.

Have you been taking your Boniva? Wouldn't want you to shatter a hip during one of these falls.

Padded hip underwear.

You guys, I fall down at least once a week. I wish I knew how to "respond" in a dignified manner, because my routes are never pedestrian-free and I always feel like such an idiot, idiot!.

say "did you get that?" into your lapel…loudly.

Hop up and take a bow, then continue your journey with showy mime gestures.
