I'm a big Kanye fan but I find this latest album far from his best and not really worth ALL the hype. Every time Robyn gets praised though I feel a little tingle .
The only thing remotely adventurous about my favorites from 2010 was actually liking the MGMT record, but yes! It is refreshing! I still can't tell whether everyone "likes" it for how it sounds or for the fact of its existence. Is there a difference anymore?
Well, I called none of these. That said, I find the absence of Kanye refreshing. So much so, it's like a zesty sirocco is blowing through my freshly-washed mane of Kanye-ignoring hair.
The mix is amazing. Especially if you are on shrooms, like I am. Somewhere candlelit. With a friend. BUT THIS MIX! It just faded out, just now. It was an adventure. At first it was all… kind of stoner beats. AND THEN… best. party. ever. Dancing. And then it calmed down, and was so mellow and beautiful and worldly. UFGH worldly. I hate that word but there it is. Alright, bye guys. I'm having a good time.
I still haven't listened to the Kanye album.
808s?
Ha, I don't know if I have listened to any of them?
Bassnectar at #1. #thatswhenipressedclosetab
Not sure if "Kanye no, the National yes!!" is all that revolutionary of a stance.
Signed,
My list didn't have Kanye on it either
HAHA. Haterz.
COME ON KIDS LIVE A LITTLE. That Kanye album gets draggy though, AMIRITE?
I don't like Kanye OR the National! WHO WILL SPEAK FOR ME ON THE INTERNET
If you have a sense of pride from being different from consensual opinion, then, umm, IDK.
Thank you, deepo. I thought I was history's greatest monster for not liking either of these things.
No. 2 on that list, while great, came out in 2009. Get your shit together, list.
Now I know that there is a thing called Bass Nectar. And sadly, that cannot be unknown.
