Lady Pilots: Chelsea Handler, Molly Shannon
Chelsea Handler's Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea is getting a pilot at NBC. That book is a memoir of her time before she began dating the CEO of Comcast. One blog commenter responded: "Chelsea is the funniest woman alive! Her talk show makes all the others seem irrelevant. Perhaps she can now save the world of network sitcoms!!!! Great move by NBC!!!!" In other news, HBO is doing a pilot for Molly Shannon in which she plays a nun leaving the convent.

More lady pilots:
Amelia Earhart
Bessie Coleman
Shady pilot.
THE HITS JUST KEEP ON COMING
Great move by HBO!!! (Not picking up the Chelsea Handler pilot, I mean.)
At least the Shannon show isn't network, which would have undoubtedly featured some cleaned-up version of Zappa's "Catholic Girls" as the theme song, for which they would have paid a billion trillion dollars for the right to ruin.
Will Handler's sitcom have the midget Mexican sidekick in it? That's a laugh riot that is.
The tag really needs to be: HANDLER I DON'T EVEN KNOW HER
But you maybe know if her boobs are real.
What's all the Handler haterade about? I fucking love her. She's the only funny part of her own show, and all of the hack comics she's friends with need to die in a fire, but I'm with you, Deadline commenter. Besides: Vodka!
Remember, sleeping with the head of Comcast is what got us "Seeking Solutions With Suzanne".
Absolut-ly Racked.
