Rent Is Too Damn Scary
Your datapoint of the day: 51% of Americans would live with a ghost as long as rent were free, while 27% would share space with a spectre for a 50% reduction in rent. No word on how many people are willing to split the bill with werewolves and vampires, but I'm sure USA Today will get to that soon enough. [Via]

The USA Today graphics department really is top-notch.
"Art department is in the furthest toilet stall to your left."
That ghost looks very spermy.
Are the poll respondents categorized by race? Because according to (old, meaning young) Eddie Murphy, only white people stay in haunted houses (Amityville Horror, Poltergeist, etc.).* But that was the late 70s/ early 80s for you.
*apologies for mentioning this twice in one week, but I've always been kind of fascinated by it.
"Get. Out."
"Too bad we can't stay, baby!"
In all honesty, I would love to know the racial/ethnicity and religious breakdown of such a poll as well.
How can you even answer that without knowing whether it is demon or human? (Love you Psychic Kids)
I used to live with a vampire! He totally sucked!
PLEASE BE HERE ALL WEEK!
Christ – it's bad enough when you masturbate in front of the cat.
Cats are snooty, cats are rude
Cats stare at you in the nude.
Still, I think a peeping poltergeist is worse.
BTW, what's a male banshee? A manshee?
Sheeman?
I would totally live with a ghost, if it was OK with being called Phantom Dennis.
Same here, but only with "Not Me".
Second for not me ghost.
I'm still hoping to get a discount on hotel rooms on the thirteenth floor. Good luck on those other breaks.
