Please Explain The Drudge Report To Me
Okay, help me with this. I've read the article to which it refers. I understand that it's a play on the title of Woodward's most famous book. I've looked through various online dictionaries to see if I'm overlooking something. But I can't for the life of me figure out what Matt Drudge is trying to say here with "All The President's Hen." The president is a chicken? He's a woman? I'm perfectly happy to admit that I'm missing the point, but there is something a little disturbing about the thought that I can't even understand Drudge's cheap digs anymore.
I think it's a play on him not being hawk-ish on war, that in reverse, he's a hen. Then again, Drudge is a moron.
Shouldn't it at least be "All The President's Hens?"
Still, better than the original headline, "Obama's Got Wood(ward)."
Drudge is saving "All The President's Semen" for October.

I think it's a subtle dig on Obama's socialist message and it's similarity to Orwell's Animal Farm. See, Obama is, I dunno, Napoleon and the hens are just listening to all his propaganda or maybe he's Boxer, and, like, Hitler is Napoleon … or maybe Stalin … and Obama's just spouting all this socialist rhetoric about how Stalin maybe had a point. Of course, if that's the case, I would've amended the title to the less confusing "The Final Neighs." But that's just me.
ANYWAY: the photoshop-a-crowd cover reminds me of my Arrested Development DVD boxes. Come to think of it, I wish the pic of Obama was one where he holds his index finger on the side of his face, like Michael does on the Season One cover.
