Animal Collective, "Bluish"
The new Animal Collective video is beautiful and reminiscent of Francis Cugat's painting "Celestial Eyes," which was used for the original cover to The Great Gatsby, which is about as beautiful as book covers get.
Hemingway would hate this video!
He's somewhere right now spreading fake rumors about how this video is impotent.
Also gay.
True story: Fitzgerald saw the painting, commissioned by Scribner's, before he finished Gatsby. He loved it so much he wrote it into the book, in a passage of writing just a beautiful as Cugat's image.
