I saw this the other day, and I thought it was pretty silly. What are the criteria? Who's judging? What's the point of making a list? Why not just submit these suggestions to Longform in the first place, where they can at least have a button that sends a piece directly to your Instapaper account?
With all due respect to the people involved, shouldn't Rebecca Mead's profile of list-contributor Jason Kottke in which she calls him "cute" (and which has that suspicious one star) maybe have been left out in favor of another excellent Rebecca Mead piece? Not to give an intentionally provocatively titled list more authority than it deserves.
