New Gulf Oil Spill Models Released: Panic Now, Miami

GULF OIL PROJECTION"Florida Keys, Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas" have a "61 to 80 percent" chance of being "oiled," "due to the potential influence of the Loop Current. Any oil reaching this area would have spent considerable time degrading and dispersing and would be in the form of scattered tar balls and not a large surface slick of oil."

Jersey Shore cast already took care of this, didn't they?

When I was 12, scattered bails of weed washed up on Riviera Beach. Some old people helped my little brother and I pull it out the sea weed and onto our frisbee to dry out. That was a good summer.

I was complaining with a complete stranger about the high airfare costs to Miami last night — so, on the bright side, there's that. Right? Right?

Kind of looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster. His noodly appendage enveloping a thousand miles of Primo waterfront acreage.

As opposed to my loins, which have a 100% chance of being oiled this weekend.

What do you use for a dispersant? And don't say "your tongue"!

No. Much like BP, I hire a team.

Trained professionals? I would not have it any other way.

That image makes it look like the oil spill is a huge rat floating into the U.S. with it's tail wrapped around Florida. Seems apt!

And it's skipping the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota area completely. Wow.
