Good news, everybody! Mercury, whose retrogradation celestial semiotician Emily Gould recently pointed to as a reason for the general state of weirdness so many of us seem to have experienced over the last few weeks, is no longer moving backwards! Everything will be fine now, unless astrology is total bunk or life actually is as miserable as it seems to be. Smiles! Or whatever your default rictus of choice happens to be.

Oh, finally! I had to hear about that so many times in the past few weeks, I was about to start getting stabby.
5 nights in a row of inexplicable, sanity-sucking insomnia... no *&$#@*&$#@*&$#@*& wonder.
Excellent! My comments get terribly dull during retrograde.
What a fucking relief.
The morgue is full of people that walk around the city with earbuds on.

Your Mother
My Comet is still burning oil.
Uh, things still feel weird.
It takes a couple hours to start working again.
and now jupiter is in my house, my house
I read somewhere (ok, Astrology Zone, I'll admit it) that things get wonkiest on the start and end dates of Mercury's retrograde (the end date being today)? Can someone confirm this and/or tell me it's ok to make life-changing decisions today? Thanks.
Nice use of the word 'rictus.'
I always thought that was a cocktail featuring cointreau.
I always thought it had something to do with one's lower intestinal tract.
Mercury retrograde is not 'bad' per se--to react more positively to it in the future (it happens about 3X a year):

This why we need to destroy the other planets.
