Alleged Petty Crook Getting Better Price At Fancy Store Than You

MOVIE TIE-INS???Never, ever get arrested for thieving while awaiting trial for shoplifting. Andrew Parker (real last name Pollack!) did that this week, when he is said to have used someone else's Amex to get two Hermes bags for $11,595… Hey,$5797.50 each, after tax?? Why is he getting a better Hermes discount that me?

How did we not hear about this before? And don't say it's because it was in the Post:

"Parker, 40, would buy jackets and clothes for around $50 from stores like H&M and Zara and resell them for as much as $6,000 after sewing in his label."

Don't feel too bad about it, Choire. The second bag had an ICE inside. It was an Hermes Brokin!

Oooh, good one.

Handcrafted in our workshops of the 5th Arrondissement, luxurious saddle-hide kneepad included, with a Lalique and sterling decanter for your chilled Smirnoff Iceâ„¢.

Wouldn't many people get down on their knees for an Hermes bag regardless of whether or not it came avec ICE?

@Art: Lalique, c'est chic. Better than giving a hummer for a Hummel.

ew, Hummels

@scrolly: Was that you in that "I Gave François Pinault an Around the World and All I Got Was This Shitty Redoute T-shirt " T-shirt?

@bookish: That's not the worst of it- the shirt turned out to be a knockoff.

I see that karma has gotten the best of dear Andrew. I will give him bonus points for consistency. When I shipped him cashmere wholesale back in '06, he never paid his invoice. I'm glad to see douche-bag finally got his hairy paw caught in the designer cookie jar.
