Pot farmers in Humboldt County, California, are worried that prices for their crop will fall if the state legalizes marijuana. They're going to get together tonight to talk shop, which should be an amazing conversation.
California or Bust
Admittance fee is half a dozen Twinkies or at least one party pack of Taco Bell tacos.
You know, I just wanted to, uh, say that I, uh, am really, uh, worried about…
What were we talking about again?
You have them all wrong. Think bearded, portly, intense, given to elaborate conspiracy theories, and VERY heavily armed.
What are they going to do, fix their prices?
Isn't that illegal?
Dude…you just totally blew my mind.
Back in the day after Prop 215 passed (1996?), I took a look at the counties that voted yes (all coastal) and the ones that voted no (inland empire, central valley). And Humboldt, Mendocino and Trinity.
With legalization, more dispensaries will start opening up and pot from Mexico will stop coming in. Collective supplies are going to be a big market in the future.
