The Inevitable Adolf Hitler Reaction To Last Night's USA Hockey Victory Over Canada
Has anyone done one of these yet where Hitler is outraged that it's been 24 hours since some kind of "significant" event and there hasn't been a Downfall parody of it uploaded to the Internet yet? Because that could be kind of funny. Anyway, here ya go. [Via]

"nuetrals who have like 3 NHLers"
No, but there is this which is close.
what i love about USA olympic hockey is the inevitable trotting out of the 1980 miracle on ice example which allows Americans one true example of being the underdog we always pretend to be all the other times in all the other areas of everything everywhere where we are perpetually the embodiment of the 1980 Russian team.
I agree with the first part of your statement…the 1980 Miracle on Ice team really was an underdog. Fresh-faced boys, straight off the Range facing the big, bad, Russian machine.
These days, at least in Olympic hockey, EVERY team is the Russian team. It's a bunch of professionals facing another bunch of professionals. There are no amatuers on the ice.
And Canada DID have the edge in yesterday's game…they had the better professionals. Except in net…where Ryan Miller played out of his mind and Marty Brodeur, lost his. Brodeur played the puck when he shouldn't have, flopped around on the ice like a fish and in general, was a giant, gaping sieve. Had HE been on the 1980 Russian team, we would have heard about him coming down with the flu today and he wouldn't have been seen again.
Ever.
I have a feeling you don't really love that about USA Olympic Hockey.
And, the FIFA World Cup takes a big ole dump on your theory.
Maybe that's why most Americans don't give a shit about football.
I must admit I used to root for the Soviets when they played the USA in sports. Knee-jerk European anti-Americanism I'm afraid.
If only we'd pulled Brodeur after the first period. It was obvious by then, hell it was obvious 40 seconds into the game when the US scored their first easy goal, that he was a huge liability.
I'd say talent-wise/on paper though, this American team is very much the third or fourth best team in the tournament?
Although the underdog thing still very much happens at everything.
OMFG, this underdog shit is driving me crazy!
I am just a bitter Canadian, but fuck, underdog this underdog that. STFU.
On to hockey, perhaps team Canada does look better on paper, but Brodeur is really stinking this tournament. And they look like molasses in mud up in scoring range. They have no idea what to do with Crosby and he is a wasted asset at this point. What team takes 45 shots and loses? It's a mess.
But can team USA cut out the underdog shit, please? While a good media strategy, is it starting to come across as super phony.

I like this one because it meta-enables you to create your own!
Can someone make one that captures the asadjkl;djklasj; of trying in vain to stream the game for its entire duration in anything other than choppy Punjabi?
I like this internet meme. Make-your-own-dramz
I agree. It's getting lots of play – but there's still plenty of gas. And it requires effort to get them synced.
