Here's a heartbreaking New York Times correction to a story about New Yorker editor David Remnick's forthcoming Barack Obama book: "An earlier version of this post misquoted Mr. Remnick on his comparison between the book and a New Yorker article he had previously written. He said the book would not be a 'pumped up' version of the article; he did not say that it would not be a 'pimped out' version of the article." [Via]

(Because it will be a 'pimped out' version of the article.)
The rims on that book are SICK.
Is it about Hope and Change or Ho's and Change?
Pimp My NY'er Article would be a great reality show for CSPAN II. A gaggle of recent liberal arts grads will live together in a Williamsburg loft and compete to turn a well-received magazine article into a full-length book each week. All unpaid, of course. The follow-up will be Pimp My Blog.
"You dog, we heard you like blogs, so we put a blog in yo' blog."
/too lazy to photoshop the picture.
Why am I so typo-y and extra unfunny today?
There's an arch grammatical joke to be made about how the difference between the two versions was the result of someone mixing up "u" and "i," but James Thurber was not available to make it. Pity.
I was about to make an arch pop-cultural joke about how I heard you like Obama articles, so I put a Obama article in your Obama article so you can read it while you read. However, Xzibit was likewise unavailable.
Where's the "Erratica" tag on this?
