Apart from sexual fetishes and dining choices, is there anything more subjective than humor? I, for instance, think this Rihanna/Andy Samberg bit from this weekend's "Saturday Night Live" is absolutely hysterical, and normally you need to hit me over the head with a shovel several times to even get me to sit on a couch in front of a TV where that show is playing. Choire, on the other hand, is less entranced. But whatever, you can decide yourself! Stick with it, it really builds. Meanwhile, for the kind of humor for which there is no dispuation-kidding, I know someone will be all, "They were NEVER funny"-there is excellent news.
That's right! New "Kids in the Hall" series! It's airing in Canada at some point next month, which is disappointing in that, you know, Canada, but I'm sure it'll show up in the first world soon enough.
If there's better news than this I haven't heard it.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well Rihanna2.0 performed "HumanEmotion.exe" in this skit.
The hook lyrics (ie "fire and ice") and Samberg's performance were on-point, more than making up for the tiny stoic princess.
All in all, as my mother said, "Have you HEARD of that Rihanna? She's so pretty! Those eyes. I mean have you SEEN her?"
I did not enjoy this SNL clip at all, though I did see/feel the humor in Rihanna's voice constantly being attended by Extreme Studio Overproduction.

I would like to hear her maybe with a piano or one instrument backing her instead of this cacophony of noise tagged on every song. Just curious.

When faced with invincibly feral, graceful physicality of many black people, gauche white people feel even more hopeless than usual; I loved this illustration. Also Andy Samberg is weirdly attractive, even in that awful Jizz in My Pants.
Hence why I select my black friends solely on the basis of gawkiness.

If you told me the entire career Andy Samberg was an Andy Kaufman sort of satire of the pathetic need of every comedic act around to show us they really could be singers if they wanted to, I might like him. that snl clip embarrassed me so much i couldn't keep watching it.
It is difficult being confronted by both the haircut I had in 1992 and the one I had in 1996 in the same video clip.
