Would it be gauche to ask what particular inside-the-media-bubble kerfuffle or stupid column or whatever this is referring to? Also, is it bad that I find this character totally sympathetic and relatable and agree with his argument?

I follow way more blogs, sites etc. than the average person but way less than a full-time,professional blogger type apparently and I feel like twitter has pretty much eliminated the need for any sort of RSS reader.

Good for you that you actually had enough money to spend on either fancy handmade shoes or dentistry. I just turned 40 and I don't have enough money for either and haven't been to the dentist since 2004 I think. I know, I know, indifferent to the suffering of others etc.

On 'Kilroy Was Here' Is 30

The weirdest thing is that some of the songs, like Mr.Roboto, became hit radio singles, even though the lyrics make no sense outside of the context of the ongoing story.
