On Brooklyn's Billion-Dollar Development Dream, Covered in Poop and Mercury

@realestatewonk @mishaps Thanks! And I guess New York would never fill it in before cleaning it up--Love Canal Pt. II isn't anything anyone wants.

On Brooklyn's Billion-Dollar Development Dream, Covered in Poop and Mercury

I'm not a New Yorker, so this may seem silly, but what purpose does the canal serve today? Is there enough existing industry relying on the canal to make filling it a non-option?

On The Marriage Metaphor

I was going to do something ridiculous, and defend Lowe's NBA career by saying he was cursed with bad players in Minnesota and Memphis, but he actually had some good guys in both places. They were young, but none of them improved while he was at the helm.

On Will We Even Have a Tea Party in Six Years?

How can we really consider them a Party (with a capital P) in the first place? When it comes down to it, their candidates are on the ballot as Republicans.

Secondly, I don't see how a group who runs entirely on "We're fighting the establishment!" can sustain itself if it actually becomes part of the establishment.

On Senate Candidate Learns Important Lesson About Constitution

I mean, if the Framers had really wanted it in the Constitution, it would have been in there--not in an Amendment--right?
