Mark Harris is working on another book? YESSSSSS THANKS CHOIRE, DAY MADE
This seems like a fine reason (aside from her being a good actress) to cast Rachel McAdams in the movie version of Connie Willis' Blackout/All Clear. There isn't a movie version in the works as far as I know, but I've got my fingers crossed.

I have really strong opinions on donuts and they tend to be pretttttty liberal but this....absolutely not. Absolutely not.
I really like that the dates are given, I'd like to see this presented chronologically, a sort of hipster timeline. The changing idea of what the NYT thinks composes a hipster.
If someone had asked me to name 5 states full of terrible drivers, I would have absolutely answered "Texas, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan."

Buffalo Bisons: totally still a team! The drunk-looking bison mascot named Buster was inhabited by my elementary school art teacher. At one point they added a second, smaller mascot named Chip. Then added an even smaller mascot named Microchip.
I vividly remember being devastated when Fish Police was cancelled.
Other March 22 births: William Shatner, Bob Costas, Chico Marx, Karl Malden, Stephen Sondheim, Orrin Hatch, Elvis Stojko, Dick Pound, Wolf Blitzer, and JJ Watt. It's a weird day.
