On The Job Board: Here Is A Job!

After my last post, I can report that no one contacted me with leads or requests for samples of my work. Sigh. However, I did get two inquiries about an opening for a "very boring and very stable day job that provides you a livable salary and health insurance" at my current office.

Let's give this things another go:
I am looking for any FT online communications or social media openings in an arts-related environment, ideally with a non-profit. I am also open to freelance writing work.

I have worked with Flavorpill.com, VICE magazine/ VBS.tv, and interned at the United Nations Department of Public Information. I blogged for Flaunt magazine, made online style guides, and have had my photography published in a few art zines. I also know some things about video production and bartending. Interests include public art, live music, and US national parks.

Currently, I work for a large non-profit doing web content production and management. But after five years in the City, I have decided to buy a Subaru and drive far away from New York. I will be outta this hole by September 1st. I have no concrete plans, other than visiting my parent's house in Atlanta and maybe venturing to Los Angeles. Please email me if you know of anything good: helloemilie@gmail.com

Conversely: If you are a graphic designer or a ‘digital content manager' based in NYC and looking for a very boring and very stable day job that provides you a livable salary and health insurance, you should email as well. I know of two openings.
