Heaving a grand sigh of satisfaction, I read your description of my 30-plus years as a copywriter (copy writer?) and editor. For the first time, I realize that I was neither insane nor existing in an alter world...just a little OCD about the difference between "farther" and "further," or longing for an intergalactic sabre when The Weather Channel uses "impact" as a verb.
