On You Are Not a Curator, You Are Actually Just a Filthy Blogger
I think ATP was the first place I saw "curation" (or "curated by") used outside of a more-or-less strict museum-y context. So...the slippery slope's precipice? On the other hand, I live in the sticks. So.

On Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti, "I'm In Love With A White Girl"
"People can't believe that Gucci Mane got jungle fever"
Doesn't he mean temperate deciduous fever? Fjord fever?

On 10 Things I Believed When I Was A Little Kid In Order Of How Embarrassing They Still Are When I Remember Them Today
1) that all dogs were male and all cats were female, and they got married and had puppies and kittens
2) that the hoverboards in Back To The Future p2 were real but some kid got killed on one so they were illegal
3) [warning: gross and kinda sad] that if I died and went to hell I'd be forced to consume everything I ever flushed down a toilet, and to mitigate this possibility I would occasionally flush food down so that it wouldn't be all poop and chewed gum

On New Percival Everett Coming!
+1 for Erasure, it's one of my favorites. In fact, the only one of his books I haven't liked is American Desert (not that I've read them all).

I know this is getting off-topic, but aren't most of the people "behind" the Tea Party of Bircher pedigree, like the Koch brothers? Poorly informed white people are basically just their divisions.

If an apocalypse will guarantee that LCD/Beyonce/Big Boi EP then I personally welcome it.

On One Couple Explains: How To Train Your Boyfriend To Dress Well
Because I have a pretty weird dude-bod, I had pretty much never had clothes that fit me well and so didn't really know to care about it. But once I started discovering clothes that did fit me well (American Apparel, of all places), I have to say, it's kind of a weird thing but it strangely did improve my life as far as being comfortable and feeling good about myself. But now I'm getting too fat for AA.
In any case, +1 to the idea of dressing nice in well-fitting clothes, guys, it's totally worth it (and my girlfriend appreciates it as well, too).
