The game in Boston was cancelled, which is a Very Good Thing for many reasons, but rather disappointing that folk won't get to see what a real sporting rivalry looks like. Yankees / Red Sox is a game of paddycake.
NYC is better than Glasgow, but I have to say that Tennent's on the Byres Road > any bar still open in NYC.
