On I Have Thoughts About Commenting Systems!
I don't like the disqus comment systems I've used in the past, though I don't hate them the way I do FB comments. I like my low-ish number, but losing it wouldn't stop me from reading or make me comment less frequently than I already do. Also, I really appreciate being asked for my opinion, as it reinforces the feeling of community I feel for the Awl/Awliverse. I'm not sure I added anything to the discourse with that, but it felt good to write.
