By Christopher Volkerts on 'Not Fade Away': 5 Years After 'Sopranos,' Does David Chase Still Hate People?

I also have not seen an episode of the Sopranos. I know I would like it. I know it is worth it. Everyone I know that knows what i like tells me you should watch it. I just can't work up the energy - so many shows/movies/books/ to catch up on! Gawd my netflix queue is a mess! Also k-dramas I have those. Also, I have been reading a page or two of Infinite Jest, for, I shit you not, two years now. I can't get through that book just so much effing work! I read Ulysses and loved it so it isn't just that I can't deal with working through a book. It is the tennis, the wheelchair dudette casting shadows, the damn dialects that make me so effing uneasy and racisty feeling. I hate that book so much. I will get through it though. Maybe. I feel like I need to read it just like I need to watch the dam Sopranos. And Sex and the City. Haven't seen that either. But I did enjoy Coffee Prince and Shut up flower boy band, and Answer me, 1997. and. wait what? yeah. Effing sopranos.

"At that age, when you are just forming your identity, isn't it natural to define yourself at least in part by what kind of music you listen to?"

I tried this but no one would listen.

That Dan Shaughnessy is a busy man: bouncing on the bungie tightrope during the halftime show AND filing the Globe's front-page report that same evening.

Also the Before Sunrise/Sunset movies, and Purple Rose of Cairo, which is the best light yet profound romantic comedy ever set to er, filmstock.

This is so interesting to think about. And I'm not ashamed to say that Legally Blonde, Drumline, and Walking Tall (with the Rock) are on my list.

With the exception of his absolutely correct stance on pineapple, Alex is, if anything, too liberal. My list is half as long, and that's only if by "mushroom" you mean actual mushrooms and not those button fuckers and by "olive" we all agree NOT the pathetic little sliced, jarred discs of despair.
And he's right, the crust pictured could be thinner, but it's passable because of the cornmeal distribution.
