On Guru: Hard-Earned
I enjoyed this article. It really intimated many of the feelings I've experienced since learning of Guru's death. I hate that things turned out the way that they did for him especially since they don't seem to parallel (at least from what I could gleen over the years) the life he led or who he was. I agree with you, though. There are very few new artists that I have become interested in. I'll listen, but I just become disgusted more often than not. It seems to me that very little if any talent is needed these days to be referred to as an artist. Guru was way ahead of the game!!!!!!!!!
