Whatever. The most humane thing you could do to any creature on a factory farm (and most people, some days) would be to shoot it/him/her.
Aside from that grimness, the Humane Society has to attend to more pressing issues than joining a pissing contest over restricting access to firearms.

On This Looks Like A Linkdump But It Is More My Own Craziness
Dear fucking God, this was tedious and annoying, so much so that I have to comment on it being tedious and annoying. Several other pieces on this site have been good and appealing and worthy fo reading and all of that, but this reminds me of listening to the owner of a reputed and filthy BK coffee shop -- the kind of person who doesn't shower for a week and papers over/covers with thick blankets all of his windows so no light comes in.
Blah. Verbal mildew.
