These guys are totally for real, and not bumpkins. Winter lives in a nice neighborhood near Duke University. Has, over the years, stirred up quite a bit of turmoil in the neighborhood. Sells (or used to, I've been out of the 'hood for a while) electronics, and has his house rigged with quite the surveillance system, by all accounts. Saw an early, all-family version of the band play in the city park.
