This isn't Rupaul's Best Friend Race.
I am very interested at all of you saying that women's rooms are cleaner. I've had three jobs that included "terlit cleaning" in their description, and that is contrary to my experience. I assume people use the ladies' room for boning because it's all stalls.
Can I move into this nursing home now? I'm ready for hotties and easily chewable food.
@Kendall there is a fundamental difference between someone in a public position (a CEO is the public face of in this case, a charitably supported organization) being ousted for beliefs incongruous with the org's mission and sexual minorities being hounded for their private lives. if you can't see the difference, you are likely suffering from a common cognitive deficiency known as "heterosexuality"
@pissy elliott Lol, I put that in the past tense as a joke!
Remember when gay teachers were drummed out of their jobs? Isn't it weird that straight people are such WHINERS when it happens to them?
"It's pronounced tawn-li-NESS"
of COURSE that picture is on zoe lister-jones' instagram. A+ all around, everybody.
@pissy elliott And if you don't have insurance, go to Psychology Today's website, search through the therapist listings and tell them what you can pay. It may not be a lot! But you won't know until you ask.
Hi LW. I'm a gay man with a lot of anxiety, too, and my heart aches for you. I hope you take the advice in Polly's response to heart. Not to be terse or anything. Finding good resources for affordable mental health is really, really tough -- that was my struggle in getting help. My honest advice is to find a list of therapists your insurer covers, and go down that list and make 3 appointments. Or just pick the first person who even takes your call, which is what I did, and after years, gave me immeasurable (if imperfect) relief.
