This article filled me with horror, because it was like someone was outing me. (I don't do scratch-offs, preferring the randomness of the 7-11-issued numbered ticket, but the same concept is there). Beth's description of her rationale for choosing the particular ticket, the looming student loan that is all but insurmountable in this lifetime, the dream home with the library ladder: get outta my head!
