On Meet Some Of The Children Who Died In Los Angeles Because The City's Child Protection System Is Broken

@Editress I'm not sure how the SF CASA program is structured but in SD they triage based on the risk assessment and pretty much whenever there is a zero to one year old involved. So if there's screwed up risk assessment it might not flag.

A lot of what SD has was put into place by a big reformer, Judge Miliken who now runs San Pasqual Academy which is boarding school for foster teens whose parents did not reunify.

On Meet Some Of The Children Who Died In Los Angeles Because The City's Child Protection System Is Broken

@Editress There's a lot of debate around reunification in LA. I sat on a few CASA hearings and felt awful watching parents be no-shows.

@largemarge Yes! CASAs do really great work in SoCal. I got to know some of the San Diego CASAs in the infant program. I would like to hear how you feel about reunification policies after you get your case assigned.

On Bodies Given To Science

@Bobby Womack Wrong assumption. We're the same age. He worked instead of going to school in his 20's.
