Recently I've been working on my taxonomy of shits. Jerks: We're all jerks from time to time. Doing mean selfish crap. Sometimes we recognize we're being jerks and we stop and go back to being everyday slugs. Then there are pricks. Pricks are selfish shits who do bad things because that's just in their selfish but not very self aware nature. When someone tells them "cut out the shit", they stop (at least for a time until they forget and go back to their old prickish self). Dicks. These folks enjoy being shits. They enjoy inflicting pain no matter what the (social) cost. Dick Nixon was a dick. Mitt Romney is a prick. Which is worse a dick or a prick? As President?
