On How Has "Bust" Magazine Survived?

I can't imagine who I would have been had it not been for BUST Magazine. I had the opportunity to write for the magazine in its earliest incarnations and grow as a writer as the 'zine grew into a national magazine. It spoke about the things that other "women's" magazines didn't, and while it's gone it a little more mainstream than its early days when we all wrote under pseudonyms (for the fun of it, and because of the sexual and brutally honest nature of the content) its still the only game in town when it comes to print magazines for young women. And even some of us not-all-that-young-anymore women.
