@delphicbees WORD. I agree with Polly on everything else here, but the guy needs to go.
@laurel :SLOW CLAP:
@Niko Bellic how do you think someone could overcome this?
Great advice, as usual. Just wanted to add that I think there are work environments where your contributions would be valued and appreciated. You sound like a go-getter and there are companies that thrive on people like you. Look at startups and smaller companies that are trying to grow. More vibrant, less bureaucratic
god polly is so good.
@Ee Gads He is a clearly a huge creep. I don't know what kind of advice I'd give LW1 though because if I was in her shoes I would have NEVER let it go, not for a moment, and the friendship would have probably long since gone bye-bye as a result. Sounds like the husband was making out with someone else after he kissed LW1, and said it was LW1 because of whatever manipulative reasons he had going on (I can think of a few possibilities). And the wife, B, is choosing her husband's story over soul-sistas. STICKY.
Good luck LW1! Sorry but you should probably dump 'em though.

CLOSURE thank god. *not sarcasm*
On Being Dumb
"A few days after Prada Marfa was officially revealed, the installation was vandalized. The building was broken into and all of its contents (six handbags and 14 right footed shoes) were stolen, and the word "Dumb" and the phrase "Dum Dum" were spray painted on the sides of the structure." Ha
Put a stack of children's books next to your bed and read them until you fall asleep. That helps me through troublesome periods, anyway.
@MattP The hyperbolic usage isn't even incorrect, as so many people seem to think. It's just overused. I don't get the rage, but then again I'm not surrounded by people that use it in every other sentence.
