Homecoming Hero features Thom's Dad, Bill Kinkade, as the
Homecoming Hero! The painting is connected with our veterans with
proceeds going to all branches of the service.
Thom said he used the California town of Soquel for the inspiration. Too bad we can't see the details hidden in the painting. I love both paintings. God bless!

"Merritt" is the daughter running to greet the "Homecoming Hero".
Bill Kinkade was a real WW2 hero who saved civilian lives in France
and Thom was able to see his dad receive an award from the veterans
when Bill was about 80 years old.
