@lovelettersinhell In Texas, being buried on your own property basically requires the state legislature to approve it, since the funeral commission is chary about approving such places as cemeteries. If you have some great-great grandparents who were buried on the ranch, you've got a better chance. Too bad we can't predict our time of death better - you could just go out on a ranch and die and by the time anyone knew it, the buzzards and coyotes would have taken care of the problem...
